Hey guys, our August meeting is coming up this Saturday, 5:00 PM back at Vasona (Oak Meadow) Park, same location as last month.

The focus of this meeting will be around our long awaited Belgian Beer competition.  For prizes I have some glass wear hand carried by yours truly from Belgium for first place, and a copy of Gordon Strong’s new Modern Homebrew Recipes for second place.

We’ll have a couple other quick topics to cover:

• Comps (not much left for 2016)
• NCHF
• SV Beer Week – any highlights?  (unfortunately I didn’t make any events)
• Club comp – should we try to do one more this year?
• Calendar for the rest of 2016, it’s wrapping up quickly!
